ADmin's review

The second chapter of John wick in my opinion was an improvement compared to the first John wick film Because it finally gets off the cliche revenge story plot which is done by many action films so far. This movie stands out a lot compared to other action films because it features realistic combat in terms of using real martial arts and detailed realistic use of firearms.

Everyone in the movie when it comes to gunfights reload their weapon often unlike other movies. The sound design are very good the punches sounds impactful and gun sounds are punchy but not as quite as I've seen other good movies. The story are mediocre and kept in minimalist terms as it does not have any deep messages or anything as its a story of some well known retired assassin gets dragged into bad situation because he disagree some mafia guy who tried to get him into some assassin related jobs so the guy destroys his house as result of punishment for breaking the "marker" which. Later he's forced to some assassin job which led to some crazy action sequences in the movie.

The fight scenes are never repetitive and constantly shows you different types of fights from gunfights to melee combat, etc. The cinematography are so well done as the fight scenes unfolds the camera views remain steady and follows throughout the whole fight. The camera angles are beautiful that makes good use of contrast and camera focus. The soundtrack are one the most memorable things about the john wick films in my opinion as it goes well with the settings.

In other words the movie was worth watching I'll rate it  8/10.
